Just had the most disturbing conversation!!!! I'm shivering as I type this.

Hhw0663 (12:10:33 AM): luke!!
Hhw0663 (12:13:45 AM): i am a bit worried
Hhw0663 (12:13:49 AM): what do we do for restrooms?
felkeyl (12:13:58 AM): dont be
felkeyl (12:15:11 AM): in a bucket
Hhw0663 (12:16:06 AM): are you seroius????
Hhw0663 (12:16:08 AM): is it communal?
felkeyl (12:16:16 AM): yes, yes
Hhw0663 (12:16:25 AM): WHAT!!!???
Hhw0663 (12:16:42 AM): wait, so one person goes, then the next one poops afterward?
felkeyl (12:16:53 AM): yes
Hhw0663 (12:17:03 AM): can't we just DIG??
felkeyl (12:17:05 AM): it is sanitary
Hhw0663 (12:17:07 AM): dig a hole in the ground
Hhw0663 (12:17:34 AM): well, what do we do with its contents afterward??
felkeyl (12:17:50 AM): it is disposed of by the Forest service
Hhw0663 (12:18:54 AM): oh!!
felkeyl (12:19:02 AM): are you ok with that?
Hhw0663 (12:19:15 AM): well... how does the bucket system work?
Hhw0663 (12:19:19 AM): do we have to line up for that?
felkeyl (12:19:34 AM): it is almost always free
felkeyl (12:20:56 AM): great!, this will be agrowing experience
felkeyl (12:23:02 AM): yes sorry
felkeyl (12:24:28 AM): I can't wait to see you

Okay, YES, so I will have a BUCKET as a substitute for a proper toilet for the 8 days that I'll be in Washington. Dear God. The rafting experience sounds glorious still, but the camping aspect to be honest just sounds scary right now (hi Luke, if you're reading this, thanks for dealing with me, I will make it up to you somehow!). I've only spent one night outside ever in my entire life, and that was the summer after my freshman year of high school. I don't remember it very well.

Edheni gave me a tip, that I should bring babywipes and possibly feminine wipes, oh, and Lien advised that I should take my own toilet paper. WOW. I am definitely bringing all three, ummm, because I like to be CLEAN!?

Oh geez.

In other news :) , I was in the cities again today, shopping on Nicollet. I'm honestly getting a bit tired of Nicollet, since it's the same old stores that one can find anywhere, but Minneapolis doesn't seem to offer much else. I bought a flimsy skirt and cutesy shirt, both by Kenneth Cole, on sale (okay, I will admit that!), but I may have to wait until London (SEPTEMBER 2, oh yeah!) before I get to wear either.

Anyway, to sum up this rather spastic entry :)
1. Super-excited about the rafting
2. Worried as ever, somewhat depressed, and truthfully not looking forward to being without my daily showers, phone, internet, TV, proper toilets, for EIGHT days -EIGHT! Also worried because dad mentioned something about leeches. LEECHES!
3. Happy about new outfits.

Good night!
